Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how paid subscriptions to LIFE (“the Service”), operated by CENTR. Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “LIFE”), are billed, renewed, cancelled, and refunded. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
Where a purchase is made through a third-party app store (such as the Apple App Store), that store’s own refund rules also apply and may take precedence over this policy.
2. Plans & Billing
LIFE offers a free tier and one or more paid plans (including monthly, annual, and one-time Lifetime options). Current plans and prices are shown on our Pricing page, which is the authoritative source. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
Recurring plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing period (monthly or annually, as selected). Payment is processed by our payment partners — Stripe for web purchases and the Apple App Store (via RevenueCat) for in-app purchases.
3. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time:
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed thereafter. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the current period.
4. Apple App Store Purchases
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple, not by LIFE. To manage or cancel an App Store subscription, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device.
All refunds for App Store purchases are handled solely by Apple under Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Web Purchases (Stripe)
For subscriptions purchased directly on the web through Stripe, we offer a 14-day refund window on your first purchase of a given plan. If you request a refund within 14 days of that initial charge, we will refund it in full and end the subscription.
After the 14-day window, and for subsequent renewal charges, payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals.
6. Lifetime & Founders Purchases
One-time Lifetime purchases and Founders plans bought on the web through Stripe are covered by the same 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. Beyond 14 days, these purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
Lifetime access is tied to your account and to the continued availability of the Service; it is non-transferable.
7. Free Trials
If a plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan converts to a paid subscription and the applicable fee is charged automatically. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
8. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Where you have expressly requested that the Service begin during that period and acknowledged that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the digital service has been fully supplied, that right may no longer apply, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
9. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
To cancel a web subscription: open the app, go to Settings → Subscription, and select Cancel.
To cancel an App Store subscription: use Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device.
To request a refund for a web purchase: email [email protected] from the email address on your account, including the date of purchase and plan. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
